Dough Boys Pizza

One of the best places to eat in VA Beach! The food is really good and the atmosphere is inviting. The bartender, Markell welcomed us as soon as we walked in. Service was excellent and the food/drinks were well made. It’s casual which makes it good for families and kids. They are renowned for their Orange Crush which is an orange juice alcoholic drink. The pizza lives up to the name “Dough Boys,” the dough is fantastic and the crust is perfectly baked so it’s not too hard or too soft. Overall one of the best food experiences I’ve had here!

Visited off-season. I ordered a medium size pizza with spinach, mozzarella and chicken as toppings, my husband ordered Philly cheese steak with fries. Despite the fact that there were almost no customers, we've waited 30-40 minutes for the food. It was brought to us by a girl who seemed to be fed up with her job. My food came 10 minutes later, so my husband's fries, which were already almost cold, were now cold when I got my order. My pizza was overloaded with cheese & tomato sauce (maybe it's also just the American style), and we weren't given silverware. I tried to ask someone, but no one was behind the counter two times I went to check. My husband went to check again and had to take some from behind the counter bc there was still no one there (it's actually not how we like to act ). The pizza dough was flavorless and the spinach and chicken, which was 2.39$ each, we're only a few crumbs (see pictures). My husband's meal had also no taste somehow.
