Don Mario Mexican Restaurant

I live close and drive by this spot often. Had an hour to spare so figured I would pop in for breakfast. Place wasn't very busy and I was looking forward to a solid meal. Tried to order Migas without jalapeños - was told I couldn't as they already are included? I left after I realized that this is not a restaurant that is designed to satisfy a customers needs. This is a restaurant that is designed to dictate the entire customer experience. Examples: - Guaranteed 20% Gratuity to all Parties of 5 or more - $2.99 for Chips & Salsa before 11:30AM - There are no substitutions or changes to what's listed on the menu I've never been to this restaurant before and sadly, I see no reason to come back again. Businesses that are unwilling to provide their customers with what they want will inevitably fail. There are multiple Mexican food options close to yours. They always give us what we ask for. You may want to look into that concept.

Love this place!! We pass a few restaurants to come here. Their red chilaquiles are authentic. You can ask for them spicy or in the guajilllo(non spicy) sauce. Their Al pastor street tacos are amazing (my favorite) but when I’m not too hungry their regular Al pastor or carnitas taco are just as good and filling too. They have a variety of salsas for their tacos too. Yummm!! For something different and delicious too are their mole enchiladas with carnitas. The coffee with canela(cinnamon) is an option they have, which I love. All of their mezcal cocktails are delicious!! We love breakfast, lunch & dinner here!!

Awesome family run restaurant with good food, great service, and a fun atmosphere! Met old friends there for an enjoyable evening, and never felt rushed by the staff. I feel this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area.
