An artful blend of coastal and mid continental Mexican fare. Very high end eatery that is unique. Try the shredded deep fried cactus in corn tortilla as an appetizer to share. Watch out for the green sauce if you are sensitive to heat. Salmon and Sea Bass prepared with a Mexican sauce flair, steaks cooked to perfection. If you have a table full of carnivores the tomahawk chop should do the trick. Cabrito on two preparations sounded very interesting (next time) and the stuffed pepper - while a main, might make a good appetizer for the table. Lots to enjoy on the appetizer menu. Solid wine list featuring vineyards from Mexico that predate California’s rise in the wine industry. Fully stocked bar. Worth a visit if you are adventurous, and open to what their top chef has in store.
We have visited Don Artemio several time before. They are a different kind of restaurant for Fort Worth. It is elegant, yet casual; the space is relaxing. On our most recent visit we had a wonderful evening with bartender Courtney and server Jackie. For such a young restaurant, they are getting the service to be spot-on which is important to us. We’re never looking for fancy; we like the nice things in life with the the most amicable, casual people. They are near to accomplishing this. The food was so elegant and delicious; the wine selections were well-selected. The staff knew how to make things happen. We were very impressed with the young restaurant. We can’t wait to see how it evolves.
Incredible upscale Mexican dining experience in the cultural district. I would have never guessed they've only been open for a week. Best wine options I've ever seen at a Mexican restaurant. Every course was fantastic. Great service plus a quality interaction with one of the owners.
