Domenico's on the Lake

Have been there a few times since they opened. Really good food and their service gets better every time we go. We had a long wait on a Friday night... it took a long while to get drinks and food but they were all so nice and apologized for the wait. It's understandable that they're so busy since it's the newest place around here, but they definitely keep getting better and are working out the kinks. Looking forward to continuing to go back, it's a nice new place in MV!

You guys have to try the Mac n cheese! It’s amazingly done! Honestly, one of the best I’ve had. The Shrimp Scampi has a lemony type flavor to it that you can’t resist. It’s sooooooo good. We don’t have a pic of the spaghetti and meatball because my step daughter was already devouring it. The sauce was incredible! And the Chocolate Lava Cake, yum!!! I Will be back with my husband for dinner and wine! ???? you all have to go check out this place!

Experience and location wise, this place rocks. Obviously the lake view is hard to beat in Mission Viejo. Covered patio keeps the temp nice and not too sunny. Service was phenomenal. Natalia was very friendly and checked on us regularly. Lots of options for drinks, focaccia, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Pizza had ground pepperoni so it was a little overly salty. Eggplant parmesan looked good. I had lasagna, which is great if you're a big meat person, but it was like having a block of meatloaf inside it. Personally, I prefer a cheesy lasagna so the lack of ricotta was a little disappointing, but hey I'm sure some people like it that way. Spumoni ice cream cake was fun looking, a little sweeter than I'd like, but spumoni usually is and paired with espresso though it was quite yummy!!
