Doghouse Pizza-Melbourne

The pizza crust seems to have been manufactured ready-made crust. The toppings were fresh. But at the end of the day it tasted like a Frozen pizza. Most of all I judge Pizza on their cheese slices. If a cheese slice can stand alone then I know it's great pizza. But the atmosphere is nice very. Very chill.

So it's a bit off the beaten path, but boy is it worth the smidgen of effort required to find it. Inside is hip with cool art/music and it is sparklingly clean. The menu is extensive and usually that means that everything is good, but not great. This is NOT the case with Doghouse. Husband and I miscalculated on how big a large was... it was indeed QUITE large. And, delicious. We ordered the Wu-Tang Pizza. Teriyaki Chicken and bacon on a garlic butter base with tons of cheese and more Teriyaki drizzle and sesame seeds? Ummm yes please. The crust is perfectly crisp without being over done, the flavors are complimentary and well balanced... and just kinda punch you in the face with yummy. We saw a couple other delicious pies delivered to tables near us and they too looked absolutely incredible. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong here. You should definitely check it out!
