Incredible food and service was phenomenal. Not many places on the capital with both amazing food and low prices! Fun atmosphere with stellar burgers
Walked by this place tons of times when visiting downtown for supper. Always said we should try it and finally did. Wish we had tried it sooner. Burgers were excellent as were tots and curds. Quality grub and very fast, though it was early on a Sunday evening. The best part was the price. I couldn't believe how inexpensive the burgers were. You can't go to Crapplebees for that amount. Had I not been greedy and ordered an app, my wife and I would have been out the door for under under $40, tax and tip included (two burger, tots, and a Coke). Can't do that very many places, especially downtown.
I have visited DLUX many times and think it’s overall a good restaurant in Madison! The sweet potato fries with sriracha are to-die-for and their rotating burgers (especially the goat cheese burger a few months ago) are typically very good. I’m not a fan of the parmesan truffle fries, but many of my friends are. Also, not a fan of the chicken sandwich I tried. The salads are mediocre, so I would definitely visit when you’re in the mood for a burger. The milkshakes are tasty with my favorite being the toasted marshmallow. I would highly recommend the slider option so you can sample a bunch of burgers they offer! Overall, the restaurant has a good ambiance with lots of booth seating and red lighting. I have never had to wait to be seated here before and they have done a great job with serving larger groups on multiple occasions. Parking: Usually street parking available on or near MLK Blvd. Paid parking garage around the corner.
