So I've been eating here for over 40 years, and it was always my go to place... Unfortunately the last few times I've been here the pizza has been sub par at best. So I easily took a 2 year break as I moved out of state recently. I also very sadly wrote a poor review, and some how it's now a new/old restaurant with only 5 super positive fakish looking reviews, and everything negative has disappeared! Well, I tried it again and 1hr 15min for a pizza. I show up 5 minutes early, restaurant is empty, and my pizza isn't even assembled yet. For my entire life, they would offer you a free drink when they screwed up, but no, the servers just sat there and giggled and talked about their personal lives, then I finally got my pizza when what appeared to be a bus boy decided to grab my pizza which was already ready. So already I know that I will never be back, unless this is the most fire pizza I've ever had. Which I can almost guarantee it won't be. Hopefully this provides prospective diners to

Always good. This is real Chicago pizza. Thin, squares…. Tavern style. Pastas are excellent as well. Staff is great. Old school atmosphere with old school service. Reminiscent of a time when restaurant owners treated you like family. Thats what you’ll get here. Quality service, quality food, and more than fair prices. This place is Chicago and the people are Chicago.
