Dimitris Farmer's Market Restaurant

Tucked away in the middle of the busiest farmers market I've ever scene is Dimitri's Charming, quaint, cozy...sure it's all those things, but, all that really matters is the food is great ???? Classic dinner food, i always have a breakfast, to the point of not being certain that they serve other options. Check it out, you'll love it! We stayed in Pompano Beach for our Spring Break (as educators) and as we headed back home decided to check out the State Framer's Market we had seen previously in the week. We drove into the parking lot to see if it was for anyone or just for commercial business and saw Dimitri's Farmer's Market Restaurant (the market is commercial only). They are open until 1pm so breakfast and lunch are the standard fare. Our experience has been "local" places are usually "hidden" gems and this was an excellent example of such. The servers and other employees are very welcoming and friendly. The food is fresh tasting, has generous portions, served hot is very flavorful and a good value price wise. There were many truck drivers from the farmer's market having breakfast or lunch at 10am and in spite of the number there the wait was short. Patty melt, patty melt, patty melt. Ooey gooey goodness. The staff here took in my weird requests as if they'd heard it a hundred times before, and then brought out a schmeaty melt so juicy I had to take a second to reconsider my life. Definitely a great place to visit.
