Dickey's Barbecue Pit

This was the single most awful delivery experience I've ever had. We placed a large order to cater a party 24 hours in advance. The next day, as the guests were arriving, we get a cancellation notice on our order. Panic ensues. After an hour on the phone to (the actually helpful) DoorDash support we find out that this is not the Dickey's Barbecue Pit restaurant in SF, but rather a delivery only kitchen who isn't responding to DoorDash requests and who's phone number is straight up disconnected. What an enormous waste of everyone's time, and huge stress for my wife and I. Get your act together Dickey's

Not the best experience or the best food. Super weird inside - which I could get past- but the food was bleh also

Interesting. This and five other restaurants are all part of the same building. The place didn't look open with scaffolding outside and the lights off inside, but there was a sign claiming it was open, so I went in. The cashier told me "it's a ghost kitchen." I decided on a brisket slider and some coleslaw because I wanted to eat, but not a full meal. I also ordered a bottle of water. The order was completed in about two minutes. In the bag, there were utensils, my slider wrapped in paper, and two little containers, one with the coleslaw and the other with pickle slices. The slider with slightly congealed cheese was surprisingly good for something that I am almost certain was made ahead of time, and the coleslaw was also pretty good. Overall, the place has food that has exceeded my expectations. If you order delivery from one of the six restaurants present in this building, I believe you'll be satisfied with your order.
