Dickey's Barbecue Pit

D'lish! Fall off the bone ribs. Tender brisket. Good bbq sauce. They offer sweet, spicy, and original. Mac 'n cheese is ok. Nothing unique but good. The green beans are great! Different and smokey flavor. Wasn't just salt and pepper. Definitely worth a visit. Looks small when you walk in but plenty of seating in the back.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I placed an online order based upon the directions of Dickey’s email promotion. I made my online order and paid for it in full at 11:30 this morning. I scheduled a 4 PM pick up. I printed the order receipt with the receipt number. I went to the restaurant at 4 PM on July 8 to pick up my order. I was told that this was not a receipt and there would be no food for me to pick up. The paper I printed and brought with me clearly reads RECEIPT with the receipt number. The woman who claims to be a manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. She did not care that I was out of the money and refused to make my food . She offered no apology, no solution, and did not want to help. I would never recommend this restaurant, Dickey’s barbecue in Harahan, to anyone. This woman does not represent your restaurant in a professional manner. Shame on her and Dickey’s. I will NEVER step foot in your restaurant or recommend you to anyone. The food is always cold and the service is slow. There was one person preparing the food while two other people sat in the back! Customers were leaving left and right. Horrible experience!!
