SO good! The sauce was so delicious and fresh and the crust was chewy but not doughy. I love that you can watch them put together your pizza and see how fresh everything is. Seating is a little tight, so if you’re going with a large group you may have to cram. But overall the vibe was good and I would definitely come back!
So both me and my wife we are from Europe, pizza is kind of like a second dish for us. It is hard to find an authentic pizzeria in the US so we were kind of skeptical about it on the first place. I’ve ordered a medium sized pizza and my wife got the small one, they brought us both the same size and acknowledged their mistake and made me a new one. Dough is perfection, I’ve seen they are using 00 flour which is a standard for real Italian style pizza. Ingredients were top notch quality as well. I can say this is the best pizza I ever had in US and one of the best pizzas I had overall (and I had quite a few). Amazing job DeSano
A true late-night, NYC style, street pizzeria, in that it has a small, sidewalk presence and customer space, because, as in NYC, downtown space is precious, and they choose to focus in the food preparation. This pizzeria offers Neopolitan style, wood-fired pizza. Ordering is simple, and the menu is focused on pizza products and salads. The prices are very appropriate to size and quality. Customer service is excellent and I actually enjoyed eating at a shared, window front table, late at night. Superb.
