DeRango's The Pizza King & Steakhouse

I used to love DeRango's until yesterday... We've been ordering from there for years. My parents always would order pizza when I was growing up and it was always great. Well my husband and I moved into Caledonia and still ordered as I used to love it. The food eventually started to go down hill and the prices went up. It's been a good 6 months maybe even more since then. Well yesterday I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, Garlic bread, and a Small pizza. For over $40!! I opened my Chicken Alfredo looked and smelled delicious. Went to go put on the plate and notice something black. It was a FLY. I seriously had to try to hold back so hard from no puking as I took some bites already. A DEAD FLY in the sauce. It's cold out and the bugs are becoming dormant.. I have not see a any Flys. So tell me why there was one in my Alfredo. Then I continued to look around and found a piece of HAIR!. I will no longer be ordering from DeRangos.

It makes me very sad to only give them a 2 star rating. DeRango's used to be fantastic. I could not wait to get food there. But lately it has really gone downhill. I order things a certain way and its never done that way. So tonight I decide to order fish and I have never gotten fish. The fish was good. Garlic bread under cooked as usual. The french onion soup was good. Now for the mashed potatoes, just fair but here's the thing I ordered a 12 piece fish. I have 4 people to feed and I get 2 very little bowls of mashed potatoes. I mean like two tablespoons of potatoes. So 2 of us went without. I'm going to try the DeRango's on 3 mile and if that is the same I will be looking for a new place to order from.

Tonight's meal was completely consistent with the last meal we had there six months ago. It was a terrible dinner. Just terrible. Our delivery guy was a rock star. The only reason they get two stars. If my feet had thumbs I'd give them four thumbs down...
