Denny's

I was in on an early quiet Monday afternoon. only 3 customers at the time. staff is sincere and kept busy during this slow time of day. My lumberjack meal was cooked to order and well done. Coffee was good. Dining room is well- kept and clean. Camaraderie among staff this afternoon as they work together. Easy to find off the highway and plenty of parking. Well done.

Dined on Sunday April 24th. This team gets five stars for being understaffed when we went for breakfast yet everyone kept their cool and was extremely nice, serving us with smiles on their faces. We sat at the bar for breakfast. I believe the manager was helping the kitchen staff and she also was great to watch her keep her team on track with orders going out quickly. The food did not come out the hottest but did not hinder the 5 stars. As a previous restaurant owner I know what a day like that is like. Hats off for everyone keeping their cool. Great job to the team!!

We came in and right after that a sign was put up that it was take out only because it was short handed. We were giving a choice of waiting or the take out. We didn't mind waiting for a table so we chose to wait. The customers before us were seated and we waited and waited. And at least 4 different tables paid and left. We were asked if a take out order was ours and we said no. And that was the only thing said to us. After employees came up there at least 4 different times. So we gave up after 30 minutes because we weren't really sure if they knew we were waiting for a table. My husband is a truck driver and all we wanted was a sit down meal. And we didn't mind waiting. We were really disappointed. This is the second time we have been disappointed with Denny's.
