Tried the dinner menu. There was a few quirky choices in the menu I would change. I had the chicken fried steak. The meat is processed but seasoned okay. But it was twice as thick as I expected. And there were 2 patties. I prefer thinner and crisper and would work in only one patty that way. The gravy was a simple peppered gravy seemed to be from a premix. But not bad at all. The red potatoes mashed threw me off a bit since I was not expecting something to be mashed in them . Pretty sure it was sour cream. This was very off putting and unexpected with gravy on top. I suggested gravy be on the side for a fragrant Nash. The bread they use for toasting is perfect. And in fact I loved the potatoes. They should relay the info of the added flavor before pouting on the gravy. My husband ordered his steak a medium. It was definitely well done. Servers are awesome. Place is spotless. Delicious breakfast, generous portions and friendly service. I thoroughly enjoyed my Grand Slam with 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 pieces of white toast and hash browns. I couldn't even eat it all! There were few people eating in very early on a Tuesday, and there was only 1 waitress, but she did a good job taking care of us. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. I recommend this restaurant.
Stopped in, and someone got me my drink before the waitress even came. The waitress came directly after that, took my order, and the food was out amazingly quickly. Obviously franchise diner, food but the execution was perfect. Would visit again when traveling.
