Del Taco

Every time I go to del Taco it seems they've raised the price since the last time. They always charge you more than what's on the menu too. And they're extremely stingy with the sauce packets , if they even give you any at all. There's no consistency in the food, and most of the time there's barely any ingredients in there...

This place says they close at midnight or 1:00 AM different days of the week but can’t seem to ever get service past 11:00 at night. The employees will turn the outside ordering menu lights and speaker off and try to hide in the back of the store so they don’t have to take your order and do more work at night, most likely because they’re lazy. Lights and friers will be clearly on/steaming but whenever one of the employees walk by they’ll pretend to not see you and won’t answer the drive through window if you try tapping on the glass. Very frustrating considering they’re one of the few fast food places in Irvine that’s “open” late at night…

A very impressive Del Taco location! Multiple rooms, various table sizes and options, and I love the separate dining area with the higher ceiling (for those of us who get a little claustrophobic). Staff was friendly, food came out fast, and the restaurant was clean. I ordered the flatbread chicken soft taco Bold style, a fish taco, and churro. The flatbread taco shined best here, whereas the Del Taco’s fish taco seems to get smaller and smaller with every order at different locations. Maybe they’re trying to phase it out, idk, but definitely NOT worth the price for the size and quality (something like 2.34 by itself). The churro is always a win. Get one.
