The food here is always spot on. We love the appetizers. The Southwest Egg rolls are literally one of my favorite dishes at any restaurant of all time. The truffle Mac and cheese is fantastic, and even better with lobster added. The steaks are always at the correct temperature ordered, and seasoned well. It's located in a great spot right in the square, within walking distance of many other bars and restaurants, along with Bass Hall.
The service was good... I do want to address that because I only have it a 4 star, but they were short staffed; so our server was doing the very best she could. My boyfriend said his chicken and deviled eggs were good. I ordered the salmon, and it was a thick salmon steak but it was not cooked throughout. The outer part that was done was very good but there was a lot of it that wasn't cooked properly, so I didn't eat it... I'm sure I could have sent it back with no complaint from the restaurant, but we were on a time crunch.
Went with my wife for our anniversary dinner. Sunday reservation at 6 pm. Arrived around 5:45 and was seated within 5 minutes. Server Molly was great at Serving us. Restaurant was clean, cool , and not very crowded. Food is pricy as is most places in Sundance Square. You get a nice view directly across from the main square. The food was great and did not disappoint . The deviled egg starter was fantastic if you like deviled eggs , but the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were amazing. I see why everyone loves them. For entrees I ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon with Brussels sprouts. Steak came out seasoned well with a nice sear and rare in the middle as I requested. Brussel sprouts had a nice sweet and acidic balsamic dressing and were well roasted. My wife ordered the petite filet medallions ( one topped with peppercorn sauce with mushrooms and the other with bearnaise sauce, and crab meat. The sauces on both of those were absolutely fantastic and I found myself dipping my filet
