Dee's 50'S Place Diner

Oh man the chicken fried steak and sausage gravy is awesome! My sons both had omelets and the devoured them. The prices or good too. We ordered it for pick-up and were told 25 minutes, but it actually was 40 minutes. Although they were busy so that extra time didn't both us. I definitely would recommend this place.

This place is awesome! We aren't from here, so had no idea what to expect. First, the baby blue and white booths are HUGE by today's standards. There's room to be comfortable, without feeling cramped. Second, the decor in general is really fun - 50s movie posters on the walls. The music is straight 50s duwopp and old time rock n roll. And the food....I got chipped beef on toast (yum!) and a salad. The salad was huge, and had tons of veggies, and a <whole egg> sliced but all resting together. My husband got eggs, toast bacon, and 2 of the most humongous, fluffiest pancakes I've ever seen. (See pictures!!)

I cannot fathom how anyone can say this is a 3 star restaurant. I went there 4 times while it was slow to keep giving them chances. Unfortunately it was horrible. Wrong order, slow to fix the issue, cold food, no taste. Here's a tip if you screw up a sandwich don't just scrape off the contents. Start new I don't want mushroom on my burger thanks.
