Deccan Grill - Irving

One of the worst experiences at a restaurant I have ever had! The hostess was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was on her phone when we tried to get seats. She had a terrible attitude and fought with us when we argued that she had COMPLETELY skipped us for seating. Another family had come in AFTER us that was larger and she had them seated before us even though there were plenty of empty seats. When we tried to order she just ignored us while showing us attitude and made a sour face. We ended up leaving. Do not go here unless you want to be met with extremely terrible service.

Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani is authentic. Loved it when I ordered first time. Was Disappointed second time. Second time,Taste was bit off and more oily, no half boiled egg, chicken was bit burnt. Wonder how they can be so inconsistent with quality and service. How can they miss Egg? They should have compensated with something else... or just state it... or apologised for unavailability... Chicken 65 was bit dry... not juicy... try somewhere else ... Conclusion : I rate Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani to be more authentic in Whole of Irving,TX till date. Tip: Order to pickup before 6:30 PM... not later than that.

The food was excellent! We ordered their chicken dum biryani, only one place in the whole DFW area that will serve you the most authentic Hyderabadi dum biryani. I would tell the taste of chicken dum biryani is like the same shah-Ghouse in Hyderabad. I just remember that place for every bite of food would try this place again.
