Absolutely the rudest and arrogant wait staff in any restaurant that I have ever dined in. The prevailing attitude seems to be they are doing you a favor for spending your money in their establishment. Food is OK, but the service is inexcusable.
My wife and I (an interracial couple) were treated with enormous disrespect today by more than one person involved with this place. We will never eat here again and hope that anyone with any modicum of tolerance will avoid giving business to people that are this openly racist.
It was our first time here at De Blasio's and was a great recommendation from our hotel host. We went for a late dinner and there was still a lineup. Quite a bit of choice but had some appetizers and main course, that was all we can handle. I'd really enjoyed the fried polenta cheese sticks with the marinara sauce it was delicious. We ordered chicken parmigiana, linguine don diablo, shrimp scampi and eggplant parmigiana. Wedding soup and salads were very fresh and tasty. The tomato sauce was not acidity, tasted so so good. Plus we had to take-away, normally I'd would not have it another day but this was good and would be a waste. Will definitely come back when we are in the area. Highly recommended. Yes, the service attitude could be better.
