#vegetarian. Went to the D'Cuban Cafe in Norcross around 1:30 pm today. The place wasn't overcrowded; 4 other customers were eating there. Other reviews say it can be pretty busy @ lunch time. The food tastes fresh, it's made fresh to order and the bowl was filled to the top. I don't know what Cuban food is supposed to taste like, but this food was flavorful. The salsa served with it is pretty spicy. I got the Veggie Bowl for $8.95 with sauteed bell peppers and onions, their homemade mojo sauce. Served with white rice, black beans and sweet plantains. Personal taste: I'm not a fan of the plantains in the dish, I like the sweet potatoes Flower Child serves better. But if you like plantains, you'll probably enjoy those. I think I also would have liked the whole dish a bit better if I had added the avocado slices too since there's no meat in the dish.
