I had been here before for some apps/drinks which were yummy and fairly priced! So, I was excited to come back a second time to have a sit down meal. I had a chicken and rice soup to start which was SO GOOD! Really hit the spot. My husband and I ordered different burgers. His had a caprese salad on top of the beef patty. He said it was just alright. I ordered the mac and cheese burger and also thought it was alright. It kinda lacked seasoning and flavor. Overall, we weren't very satisfied with the burgers, but the soup and the drinks were good! Oh. And the murals on the walls were super creepy and kinda off-putting. ???? Would definitely come back again but maybe just to drink at the bar!
DC Cobbs is a fun gastropub type feel with great food! They have unique food items and plenty of spicy menu items that will excite you! The great thing is, they are open on Monday’s when most of the East Dundee block is closed after the weekend.
My friends and I have been going to Cobbs weekly since around when it opened. Since we would always eat outside, we haven't gone since the Fall until yesterday. I ordered a chicken sandwich I've had a half dozen times before. Attached is a picture of what I received. It seemed odd to me because in the past the piece of chicken was falling out of the sides of the bun, and I'd cut the excess off and eat that first. This time it looked like there was only a bun on the plate with no chicken. I took the top off and found a piece of chicken that just over half the size of the bun. Not only that, but the fries that came with it were about half the size of what normally would come with it. The picture speaks 1,000 words. Seems to me that the owner of Cobbs has decided to half all of the ingredients and servings, but keep prices the same. Also my friend's signature Cobb salad was served without grilled chicken which is the main ingredient and he had to complain to get his chicken. Worst of all,
