I have been eating at this restaurant about twice a week now for about 3 months. I think they have the best Peruvian chicken in the area. I would have given them 5 stars before today. The reason for the 2 stars happened today when I went to get my lunch. They serve all their food in take out containers whether it is to go or dine in. There was a man sitting at a table today when I entered. He brought his tray up to the counter and told the employee that he had ordered vegetables not rice. At this point the employee took his food tray and scraped the rice back in the container behind the counter to serve other customers. Then he put vegetables in the tray. I don't think there is EVER a reason to take food that has made it to a table and put it back in container that will be served to other customers. I really wish I hadn't seen this as I really loved this restaurant but will not return.
Their Perusisn food is more delicious than any other food I've indulged in in Virginia. I would also say it's slightly heavier food, and you are likely to remain feeling filled compared to foods elsewhere. Vegetarian options: Yes. Definitely. Parking: Sufficient parking
Amazing food. Wish there was a vegan option on their bowls but I just build my own so it's great either way.
