David Beard's Catfish and Seafood

The food is just okay. It was very warm in the restaurant. They need someone regularly cleaning the salad bar after people. The restrooms made me uncomfortable because the TP was on a wooden unsanitary looking paper towel holder sitting on the floor in the stall.

Our first time. When we walked through the door first 2 things we noticed was the smell of urine and it was hot. We ordered catfish of course. The catfish was the size of tenders not filets and really had no taste. This from a catfish place?? The French fries were cold. The hushpuppies were doughy. I gave 2 stars because the wait staff was good.

Terrible now. Used to be a great place to dine in or take out. Went to get to go today and it was terrible. Smaller portions and the salad bar was terrible. The container for the salad bar was smaller and they wanted to charge me extra for the coleslaw...I understand the price went up but...if you want to go up on the price the food should be just as good. Friendly staff wasn't there. Not going back. Good way to keep a business ????????????????
