Dao's Tai Pan's Restaurant

So maybe this place has something good, but what ordered was not. Perhaps I shouldn't have ordered Thai food, but it is on the menu. It was not inedible but it was awful. Supposed to be green curry but it had no trace of green. Tasted like condensed milk mixed with coconut cream. Then some frozen vegetables mixed with undercooked eggplant. It sucked and I am being generous with 2 stars. But the people were nice so 2 stars it is. Perhaps the Chinese or Vietnamese selections are good? Bottom line, if you want Thai, don't do here.

For a $30 single meal where. I paid $2.50 extra for brown rice I would think that if I asked for a little more rice I would receive it. But no, they wanted to charge me more money. and they certainly didn’t give me a full bowl of brown rice either It’s like OK good you don’t get any tips little boy. and it’s also like OK good I’m not going go to Daos restaurant anymore either. You lose losers.

It's Okay. Being from San Jose, CA, I've tasted better Bun Bo Hue. I wish the broth has a little more flavor into it. Compare to San Jose, CA, the soup lack of meat like it is supposed to have. I didn't taste the pho but did order one for the kids to share. They finished it. Service is good.
