Danny's Pizzeria

Thin, crispy, crunchy and no flop.Real New York style pizza. Dave Portnoy would rate them a 8.7 easily. Danny’s is the first pizzeria I tried since moving from Philly to Bradenton and will be the only spot I would need.

We used to love coming to Danny’s or getting takeout at least once every week or every other week. We’ve had a few different instances where the pickup has just been chaotic and one day we sat down to eat in and no one ever came to help us. I’ve given it a few opportunities before coming over to write a review, but things have certainly gone down hill here. Today I ordered a pizza and garlic knots and was told 15 minutes. When I went to pick it up it still wasn’t ready and waited another 15 minutes on top of that. It’s a Sunday in the summer, not nearly a high enough volume of patrons for a pizza order to take over 30 minutes. I was told their ticket system messed up the order, but this has been the excuse every single time there has been a crazy wait. The person managing (possibly the owner?) came over and apologized and I told her truthfully while we love the pizza, we are not coming here anymore. I came after hurricane Ian and they were so welcoming! -sorry if I spell names incorrectly- Kerry and Linda were absolutely wonderful! Great, cheerful attitude and great service! This was my first time here but I am excited to go back ????????
