First of all Damons has got rid of two of my favorite dishes, the steak salad and the Tahitian orange cake. The latter seems to be really missed by everyone including the hostess. But the service here is outstanding and the food is very good. I on a whim had stroganoff beef which was delicious and an excellent mango chicken salad. Both of these were not what I expected to get a Damon's in both of them were really good. But as far as the streak goes, it was the New York Frank state, and it was very good.. I do wish they had more tiki type things? Besides shrimp? But otherwise everything was good. I ordered the chocolate cake and it was like a mountain range, it was so enormous I couldn't believe it.

Charming Hawaiian themed restaurant open since 1937 is perfect. It reminds me of the enchanted tiki room at Disneyland, but with amazing food. The dimly lit ambiance, welcoming staff, and the perfectly cooked prime sirloin have made this a go-to spot for multiple generations in my family, friends and for I. When I am in Los Angeles, I try to come to this restaurant if I can. Parking: There's metered parking all around.
