Damascus Grill

This joint is only a shadow of once was. I remember when this restaurant started in Colorado Blvd. Food was delicious. The atmosphere was great. Now the place is small, kind of filthy, but what is worst is the food. Pita is still good though. Prices are competitive and the person who waited our table did his best. That said, no way in hell I'm returning to this restaurant. Less than average middle eastern food.

Went today for lunch and had a gyro with French fries. Food was fresh and tasty. Had the iced chai tea and it was flavorful. Small seating area inside but clean and well kept. Plenty of parking. Initially the only person for lunch, but before the end of my meal others had come and nearly filled the seats. Staff was polite and prompt to serve all aspects. Recommend and will return.

We were a group of 11 people. The food was good and the service was excellent. Gluten-free friendly! The hummus here is flavorful and decadent, and the portion size of the entrees is large. The Lamb and hummus shawarma plate was good, but had a very strong flavor of cumin. Our waiter handled our large group perfectly, and the kitchen brought out our food in good time.
