Dam Grill and Bar

Just found out the lease for this place was not renewed, so it will be closing. Honestly, it's for the best. This place was over-hyped. The riverboat cruise was fun for the family, but otherwise... it was never worth it. The live music just couldn't mask the fact that the food was as underwhelming as you can get. When you have a location like this... you should invest in high quality food. Most of it tasted preprocessed... like the type of food you can just toss in the microwave in a dorm room. In fact, I'm surprised they didn't have ramen on the menu. Lackluster flavor with zero heart and soul. I never rated this place because I wanted to see if they could turn it around... but... the juice ain't worth the squeeze - if you get my drift. The company that owns this place has a lot of restaurants around the metro... I've dined at a few of those places... and was just as underwhelmed.

Always have a great time at this bar. At this damn bar LOL take it in really great bands have a great manager have a great staff. Oh yes and then there is the scenery all tiki huts and lights... And right on the river, which was especially nice with that big orange moon last night with the palm trees and the moon glowing on the river. I'm lucky that I have friends to get there a little sooner than me for our chairs.????

River setting. Great bar food. Live music. The ghost of Anchor Inn? No. Even better! Mild weather. Plentiful parking. Clean bathrooms. Solid service. Great vibes. Made for an even better evening!! Can't wait to return.
