Dale's BBQ House

Mrs. Flip Out and I stopped in for lunch since we were in the area. We both got a two meat combo. I got their smoked sausage and jalapeño cheddar sausage; Mrs. Flip Out had the smoked turkey and chopped bbq brisket. I really enjoyed both meats and they each had great flavor. Mrs. Flip Out liked the smoked turkey more than the chopped bbq brisket. We both really liked their house made bbq sauces, especially the apple habanero bbq sauce.

Been going to Dales for years usually very good, this time not so much. Bought a rack of ribs and by the time I got them home(2 miles) and opened them up they were cold. They had gone up 20 percent and quality had dropped 50 percent, tough couldn't get off the bone had to microwave to heat up to eat. Extremely Disappointed. Had better from Crest. Won't be back for ribs.

The food is good with good portions but their ribs are boiled. Why do bbq places do this? Several do. It's horrible to do this. Why dont you cook them with low and slow smoke? Don't say it takes too long or it's too cost prohibitive. Some restaurants still smoke their meat from start to finish. For example rib crib.
