Dairy Queen

I went through the drive through. I come here at least twice a week on my way to the park. I always order the same thing. Twist in a dish. Now I know it’s probably strange to order soft serve in a dish instead of on a cone, but I am pretty much gluten-free, so I just get the ice cream. Usually they get it right even if the size always changes. But today was completely unacceptable. I waited in a long line and I told them what I wanted when I got to the window, and they gave me a kid size twist in a dish. The guy charged me $1.99. I thought OK, well maybe this is the new size small. But then I look at it and find out it’s just vanilla, not twist. I said, “what is this?” I found out that he charged me for a kid size vanilla in a dish. So then he had to re-ring it and asked me for a dollar more. Then I get the twist in a dish and it’s the same size as the kids. By this time I’m getting upset because I’ve been waiting a long time and I had to pay more anyway. I told him the difference was

The food was great. Went there for the new cherry with chocolate chips blizzard, I recall formerly known as choco-cherry love. The grilled chicken sandwich and fries were served hot and the fries had the right amount of salt. Took a bit for the food so I knew it was fresh. Amazing ice cream. Perfect ice cream. It doesn't melt until you're bitten into it for the first time, and it tastes so fricking good. The fries are also great! The staff are very friendly, even giving our dogs little ice creams just for "Being the cutest, goodest boy"! They have never messed up our order, and it's very fast. One time we forgot to order an extra thing of fries for my little brother, and they immediately grabbed one for him! Great service, great quality. Parking: Lot of spots. Never had to drive around for more than a minute to find one! Kid-friendliness: Great for kids and adults alike. The kids meals are amazing and a great deal.
