Daigo

Love how it is tucked away in a corner. We sat outside (3 people) and we ordered a good amount of food and it came very timely and the quality was awesome. Love some UNAGI but my personal favorite was the sweet potato roll. Crispy texture on the outside and not too much rice made this super yummy. Will definitely come again and try more food and sake!

Daigo is such an amazing place! The sushi is so delicious! Everything is super fresh. We simply could not stop ordering, and everything was so incredibly delicious. You do have to make a reservation though. They do not take walk-ins, the place is small with limited seating.

Good sushi dinner tucked away on Cal Ave. We especially enjoyed the two special fishes; the mackerel was well marinated in a vinegar to lessen the intensity of the fish flavor and the white fish was delicate and firm in texture. The nigiri in the dinner set were pretty basic, I felt the price was quite high for one piece per order as opposed to two. Fish to rice ratio on the lower side, personally I prefer higher. I'd probably skip the appetizers and sets next time.
