Da Blue Lagoon: Jamaican Kitchen

If I could give this place a zero I would. My cabbage was so greasy I could taste it it was dark and crunchy like it been sitting out for a week. The chicken was so dry hard and old I couldn’t even chew it. It definitely couldn’t have been cooked the same day rice had literally about 5 brands they were all smashed. I’m upset I waisted my time and money. I threw it in the trash

My husband and I look for good authentic Caribbean food. We found this place on Yelp. Went and this place was first of all overly priced. The first trip was before the pandemic. The portions were super small. We're used to Caribbean food joints giving very decent amounts of food. We tried it again and same thing. Small portions for overly priced food. They don't have hot jerk sauce. They have bbq sauce. Not authentic. We found another restaurant and the same dishes were half the amount with more food and more of a quality taste. The chicken was a little dry. Needless to say, we haven't returned.

Today was my 2nd time getting good from here so I've only had the coconut curry chicken and it's delicious lol. The owner is nice and very friendly
