D & S Caribbean Kitchen

Ordered the curry goat and while tender, was very salty. I'm not new to Jamaican food so I was expecting this to be full of flavor but I only tasted salt. The roti was decent and the beef pattie was just a regular frozen one. I'll update this review when I go try some different foods.

Debbie and Sophia are such an asset to our neighborhood and to the Lehigh Valley food scene. D&S reliably provides delicious food at a very reasonable cost. We live within walking distance, so we always get takeout, but the sisters' cheer and deeply delicious food always make us happy to stop in. I'm fond of the jerk pork and the oxtails, my wife almost always gets the curry chicken. The sides are wonderful, dessert is always a treat (I'm fond of the coconut drops - redolent of coconut, but also caramel and ginger). This is soulful cooking from the heart, beautifully spiced, deeply evocative of Jamaica. We're so lucky!

I just discovered this hidden family style Gem of a Restaurant that is conveniently located downtown. It is owned by two sisters, hence the name. They are warm and welcoming. If your palate is in the mood for Caribbean style cuisine, (Jamacian), then this is your must visit destination while in Bethlehem. I order stewed red snapper, spinach rice, cabbage and sweet plantains. While waiting for my order I ate a veggie pattie rich in texture and a bottle of sorrel. ???? Everything was made with love!!! They provided generous portions and the food tasted great at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place. 10 Stars!!!.
