I ordered a Beet Salad and added tri-tip, service was not the fastest in the drive through but I thought I would be worth it since the salad looked really good in the menu, but no. The spring mix lettuce was in majority mushy and old, I ended up having to eat only the toppings because the quality of the lettuce was horrible as you can see in the pictures. I literally got the food and parked near the restaurant to eat so it’s not like it was sitting in my car for a long time. It’s just very frustrating to spend $20 in a salad that’s old and mushy.
I like the food here! I see the g**** burger in the menu and always want to try it, but don’t because the name is an offensive slur. The name absolutely needs to be changed for the burger. There is no need to have a slur as the name of a burger, no matter how good the burger is. The fries could use more salt too :)
Cubby's is a chain restaurant that has a fast food feel yet everything is made to order so it takes linger than fast food. They are known for their burgers and organic options, along with a few other menu items. The prices here are extremely high for the portion size but it definitely makes us in flavor. Their burgers are cooked just right, their Mac n cheese is pretty creamy, and their fries are crunchy.
