I recently became gluten free on top of dairy free for the last six years. I haven't had pizza because the red sauce/tomato based anything, has also bothered me. But after suffering a loss yesterday after a loss last month, I said screw it, let's get pizza. So I googled GF pizzas near me and came across this spot after seeing pizza cave was closed. It was a mile from my house on the good side of 8th Street, so I went to make an order. It wouldn't allow me to order online from their link here, so I called directly. They were able to make a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese and pepperoni. I also requested really light red sauce. They said 20 minutes. So we drove in the rain to get there. Found some side street parking. I was told at arrival, it was ready, but come to find out, the pizza maker put peppers instead of pepperoni. I also can't have peppers with my numerous diet restrictions. So it took an additional 10 minutes to make. I asked for water while waiting. I would go there to ea
Ordered the Vegan Pizza which was pretty good. I really enjoyed the taste and texture. You won't know unless you give it a try so get up and explore.
Had lunch here today. I chose the meatball panini for $14 with the cucumber tomato side dish. All for under $15 (without tip). Such a simple sand-which, yet so good. And the tomatoes were perfect, not sure what kind they are. Very refreshing. The servers were kind, I was seated immediately and taken care of quickly (it wasn’t very busy anyways). The inside is spacious and has a fun sports bar vibe, but more rustic. Truly interesting to look around at. I will certainly return. Parking: Free street parking for 2 hours between 8 AM and 5 PM
