I really wanted to give 5 stars on the food but the bone marrow tartar was not the greatest only because eating the "grilled" bread was like eating cardboard. It was so tough, if I had dentures, I probably would have accidently shot them out of my mouth across the room when trying to bite the bread. But the rest of the meal was fabulous. The sushi was spot on and delicious. The firecracker shrimp was fabulous. The desserts were perfect to end the night. The portion for the chocolate cake was huge! The presentation was great and employees were wonderful.
The server we had last night was excellent. My drink came a little bit late and she profusely apologized and they comped it. I didn’t even think it was a big deal but they did. We hadn’t mentioned we were celebrating a birthday until after the dessert came. They came back with sparklers and were really wonderful about that also. The sushi is always on point.
Ordered the Walleye entree. I've had chicken strips better than this. The Walleye had a fishy taste and was super small for a Walley filet. A third of each asparagus was so tough you couldn't chew it. Not worth the 20 bucks or the 8 dollar glass of beer.
