Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Great family atmosphere. The best place to go for breakfast food and it doesn't matter if it's lunch or dinner time. The fried chicken dinner was very filling and satisfying. I had enough left to take home for later. Other family members enjoyed their afternoon breakfast meals. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Our waitress made sure to come back and check on us to see if we needed anything. It was a very pleasant afternoon meal experience. Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere was peaceful and very much kid-friendly. We did have a six and fourteen year old with us. We could tell they were at ease and comfortable with their surroundings. We could tell they were satisfied and enjoyed their food because they left nothing on their plates. Parking: The parking was very good. There were more than enough spaces available for customers to park. It would be good if more spacing for handicapped and elderly were made available closer to the restaurant.

This place has always been a favorite of mine but today was extra special. My grandma has been in the hospital for four days and I went to have breakfast today, trying to get a little pause from all the craziness. Our waitress Katie went above and beyond to make sure we were ok and taken care of. Everyone is super nice in this location but she is just too great to not recognize! Thanks everyone for lighting up my day during this storm.

We arrived at 715pm ordered by 735pm. After they walked us all the way across the restaurant of empty tables to seat us in the back corner! O BTW me and one of the other ladies are black and we was with our beautiful Caucasian friend. Okay so After an hour of waiting for our order.. We waved down a waitress and ask her to check on our food. She said it was because there was a 12 top that made our food late... Okay so then Immediately after our server arrived with our bread and he said we were just waiting for the toppings to be out on our sweet potatoes. 5 minutes later at 845pm our cold dried food arrived not even edible. Our fish was dark obviously cooked in old grease. I can't even begin to tell you how we feel. But I want you to know I love cracker barrel before this experience. We expressed to management that we are traveling 3 hrs away from home and could we get a gift card for a meal at a later time in which he declined. Thanks for nothing Jay sincerely 3 hungry mommas!
