Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Great country breakfast and the prices are surprisingly low! A must have if you like a hearty breakfast to start your day! They also have a wonderful little shop and the restaurant decor is very nice…lots of antiques everywhere!

The service was very good, BUT, the food was sub standard at best. We ordered the fried chicken and it came out so fast that I was suspicious. It was cooked earlier in the day and kept in a warmer. It was NOT crispy at all and was NOTHING like it used to be. We talked to the manager who, was like the server, very nice and attentive and she informed us that corporate provided them with new warmers when they started serving the fried chicken everyday. So they substituted quantity over quality. I will not be eating at Cracker Barrel ever again. What a shame.

Good country eating. I have loved this restaurant chain since living in Nashville, TN. Something nostalgic about it. I am immediately brought back to my younger years when I return. My mom loved it too. I also love shopping at the store as well. Old fashioned candies and great holiday decorations.
