Reviews for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

You can’t go wrong with Cracker Barrel! The food is always consistently good, and the store is always well-stocked with random but cool items. They have a great selection of candy and you won’t find a better value than the food in the restaurant. They have everything you need and it’s all good! Vegetarian options: They have it all! Parking: Easy lot parking Kid-friendliness: Yes it is!
You don't have to eat here to enjoy the gift shop. They carry plenty of knickknacks. I was surprised to see they even had vinyl records. Also, they have a great selection of candies, both new and ancient. They bottled soda pop wall, where you can make your own 4-pack was interesting. Definitely, consider making Cracker Barrel a rest stop on a road trip. The bathrooms were cleaner than some gas stations.
On a good day, the food looks fresh, cooked well, and tastes delicious. The mac and cheese is creamy, dumplings soft, biscuits fluffy, everything is served to satisfaction. The best comfort food. On a bad day, you will receive burned, dry, lumpy mac and cheese that looks and tastes as if it were scraped from the bottom of the barrel. The biscuits are bricks. I posted two photos of how my usual order is served on a good day next to when it's a bad day. The inconsistency at this location is exhausting. You never know if you're going to get food that tastes and looks delicious. It's a surprise. Never know what you're gonna get. The service is okay. The prices are decent when the food is made right. The atmosphere is cute. Very country and cozy. The shop is overpriced but you definitely find a few things to take home.
