Disorganized start but a decent meal. We had a party of 7. Called earlier in the day to see if we should book something for our Sunday afternoon gathering. The girl said no need they aren't normally that busy Sunday afternoon. We get there in the afternoon. 30 minute wait. Not that big of a deal. Finally get taken to our table. Table wasn't ready like the hostess thought! We stand there as they clean it. Get seated and then wait and wait. No silver wear or menu's given to us. One waitress came up and asked if we got silverware I said no. Then another asked if we had our order taken I had to say no we haven't. This was all while management was sitting in the corner enjoying break time and eating. It honestly took more time just to get someone to take our order and get silverware than it took to get our food out. About 21 minutes for all our food to make it out. Not bad at all for a party of 7. Our 3rd waitress was nice. I feel like she could of checked in maybe 1 or 2 more times. She ne
This was incredibly disappointing for a restaurant that has served quality food for decades. The server, Lori, was polite, but ignored my changes to my order, even asking if I had any changes. My eighties were over cooked and cold. The fruit cup had five whole pieces of cut fruit, three strawberry halves and two pineapple chunks. The regular eggs my daughter received were clearly not really scrambled and also cold. The gravy was tasteless, which ended up making the biscuits (the only good part of the meal) taste bad. The pancakes were way overcooked and they wasted grits, giving them to me after it was another requested removed item. I had specifically requested no tomato slices and received three that soaked into my other food. We ate, out of necessity, but especially after waiting fifteen minutes past the expected 35 minutes, what a disappointment.
I love Cracker Barrel food... but doubt I'll ever return to this location. Waited over an hour for a table (party of3). Once seated it only went downhill from there. Service was almost non existent, food was NOT on par for the Cracker Barrel I'm accustomed to. Maybe they are short on staff? But it's Sunday 11/6/22 and most people would appreciate the honesty and let us know up front that we'll be spending 21/2 hrs. here. Just another case of "Live and Learn" I suppose.
