C.R. Surf & Turf Restaurant

A typical diner type restaurant. Good seafood. Hand cut steaks. Coldest beer in town. Been in cedar Park a long time. Known for their gumbo and clam chowder.

I have driven by this place many times over the years and it wasn't until a friend recommended it that I tried it & I am happy that I did. It doesn't look like much on the inside but the food coming out of the kitchen was delicious. We started with the charbroiled oysters which were HUGE! They were nothing like New Orleans oysters but they were decently tasty. Ordered the shrimp and avocado cocktail as well which was served with thick chips, had more of a sweet like taste but very good. I ordered the lobster and shrimp ravioli and ooooh was this the best thing ever!! I was very impressed with every bite and certainly am looking forward to coming back to try more on the menu.

You must go and try this place out!! They know what they are preparing. The crawfish and oysters were really fresh... Fried Rice and Fried Fish was great too, it looks like they were short of the staff, but the service was really friendly. Highly recommended!!
