Cozy Corner Restaurant & Pancake House

First time coming in here today. They were very busy. Sat down at my booth and was greeted very quickly. Waiter was attentive and polite. My waiter was Alex L. He was on it. Coffee and water. Asked consistently the whole time of my visit if I need anything. Good service deserves recognition and a five star review. The hostess at the door was prompt as well. You'd think with as busy as they were, the service might have slipped. Not at all. I haven't even gotten to the food. I had red velvet pancakes. Wow they were so good ! Hashbrowns good too but yah , the red velvet pancakes were infused with like a cream cheese custard / vanilla type tasting cream. In ' conclusion, great service and I will be back. This place is definitely a good treat. - Bathrooms were very clean too. No surprise.

It was my first time coming to this restaurant with my family. The staff was so nice and the place was very clean. It was the perfect combination to have a nice lunch. Unfortunately I ordered a NY steak strip and I specified it to be cooked medium. It was brought completely well done. Of course not a problem, I mentioned it to the waitress and, she took the steak to bring another one. I assumed she would come with a new steak but brought me the exact same one cooked much more. Like what? You can’t take the well done out of a steak. They didn’t send a new piece or attempt to correct the issue. My wife had to suggest to have that taken off the bill. Although they offered a new plate it was too late as my family was done eating. It was clear they messed up and the waitress kept apologizing. Such a big disappointment!
