This is what every restaurant should be. It's upscale but not pretentious. Decor is lovely and they pay attention to the details. Service is completely on point. Friendly, helpful, attentive and never overbearing. The food here is simply amazing. Hands down my favorite restaurant in San Diego.
For someone like myself who isn’t a big steak eater this place was absolutely delicious. I ordered a well done filet… yes a well done! It was made to perfection. The steak was so tender and juicy filled with tons of flavor. The sides were the perfect size. The grilled shrimp was so also very tasty. I highly recommend this place. Perfect for a date night.
There was good food and disappointing dishes here. Service was good. We had an appointment at 8:30pm. Starter #1 started at 9-9:30pm. They did not take our order till 10pm, and got our first course at 10:30. Every course took forever to come and the dessert came almost at midnight. Venison and scallops were very salty. The shallots were burned. But the pasta tasted good though. Banana pudding is good. Bread pudding is better. Soup is good.
