Country Inn Withamsville

Had read the reviews and thought I was in for a treat. Boy, was I wrong! Guess you have to be a regular to get friendly service. Told there was a special only AFTER I asked. May have been written on a chalkboard someplace but I didn't see it. The special was fried chicken and the menu said it was "worth the wait" so gave it a try. Came with 2 sides so got green beans and fried apples. At least the veggies were good. The chicken however, was horrible! Extremely dry and overcooked to the point it was hard. To add to the experience, my bill was over $16 and the only other item I had was iced tea. Was really hoping to support a local business. I'll have to find another one.

This place just started serving dinner. Unfortunately I ordered breakfast at dinner time what a bad mistake I made... They make the most awesome breakfast. Just don't order breakfast at dinner time. The service is phenomenal here!!! You would never know how busy they were because everyone worked together .. it was amazing! The food is always fresh and on time.. great home cooking food.. Although I will say the onion rings , although they're freshly sliced and breaded.. are very greasy.. but grease is delicious right? It was such a huge portion that we couldn't eat it all wanted to bring it home but knew it wouldn't take. And for the price maybe they should make smaller portions.. would probably save them time and money.. Will definitely return here though! They have a new nightly special on their dinner menu.. had I known that I would have ordered the dinner menu special. I kept seeing everyone get the dinner menu special and I was foolish to order breakfast at 6:00 at night. (Just r
