Out on our bikes and my brother Sam told me he at a good restaurant that was affordable and good , and he was right. I order the Chicken Fried Steak and two sides along with a glass of Tea. The food was very good especially those homemade Mashed Potatoes. Due to personnel shortage service was a bit slow but worth it. It was very affordable and had very nice decor and clean restrooms. Highly recommend..
Cotton Patch is off the list. Half the place was empty, the friendly hostess sat us down right away. But no server for over 15 minutes. Finally we got some one to take our order. We got our side salads, then no entree for over an hour. Eventually the server told us they got our order wrong and they just started cooking it. After being there an hour our food was served and it was wrong, wrong dressing, wrong sides. Oh and don’t expect any rolls, our server said they were out! We didn’t say anything because at that point we just wanted to eat and get out of there. But we never saw a manager on sight or anyone come to our table to apologize for the unreasonable wait. In fact there were two other tables next to us that got up and just left. Sad to see this once favorite establishment implode.
Always good southern fried food. Service was a bit slow but very pleasant. Next time I’m going to try the chicken fried bacon!
