Mom is happy because garlic herb shrimp are back on the menu, and she likes the cinnamon apples. I was happy with my grilled salmon and skinny veggies, which were tender not crunchy. They were out of napkins but brought us nice brown paper towels. Sweet tea a little bit weak. Quiet on Monday, a good centrally located lunch place. Rolls for the table have delicious fresh butter.
I recently visited Cotton Patch Cafe and was impressed with the food, but not so much with the service. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the food came out quickly and was delicious. However, the service left a lot to be desired. My family and I had a young child with us, who was four years old. When we were seated, we were not given a children's menu, even though the staff had seen her and knew that we had a small child with us. It wasn't until we asked for one that they finally brought it over. Our child was upset that she didn't get the crayons to draw with until we asked for the menu. It was a small thing, but it definitely put a damper on the experience. Overall, I would consider going back to Cotton Patch Cafe for the food, but I would hope to see better service. The staff didn't seem to be very welcoming or friendly, and it felt like they didn't really want to be there. Funnel cake fries cold. Meat in country fried steak tastes rotten( threw it away) they forgot side salad. They brought me the side salad they had forgotten and it had hair in it. No sauce with funnel cake fries. The container they give you with cheese, butter, sour cream and bacon bits for your baked potato had 4 or 5 pieces of grated cheese as well as bacon bits. Very unsatisfactory. Bye Cotton Patch in Corsicana. Never again
