Costantino's Venda Bar & Ristorante

Not my favorite pasta I’ve ever had- I had to add salt and seasoning. The mushroom appetizer was fine. But the atmosphere is wonderful outside by the fountain. Really enjoyed the wine as well. We got a bottle of Barolo.

Have not eaten at the restaurant in several years, but a recent visit to the market… well, it never disappoints. I am always amazed at the huge variety of wonderful offerings of authentic Italian cuisine are on display. They also have a very large variety of spices, oils, etc. If you love Italian cuisine, this is a must see when visiting Providence. Not to mention all of the wonderful sights on Federal Hill and the square.

Family of 6 with four kids sat outside next to the fountain. It was not on yet since it was of season in April. The food was good overall and we had better from other Italian restaurants. I got the lobster ravioli with shrimp and my wife got the bolognese. The server was very polite and attentive. They don't have a kids meal but they were able to put together chicken tenders and fries and my two daughters split thr spaghetti with butter and meatballs. The bread and oil was the highlight for the kids. It was very delicious! I'm sure during the warmer months this is a fantastic place with nice ambience and great for people watching.
