Corner House on the Lake

Nicely decorated restaurant for the holidays. We ordered the prime rib, cooked to perfection and very tender! We also had the stuffed mushrooms, which were delicious, you will see the empty dish they were in! Nice sized salad, tasty warm bread and huge baked potato. Too full to order dessert! New wait staff, she was very attentive! We will be back to dine in, try other drinks and get dessert!

Have given this place three chances and they have gotten progressively worse each time. Went there on a Sunday for an early dinner and sat at the bar. Got the calamari for an appetizer, the filet medium and the chicken Parmesan dinner. The calamari was bland and seemed like something you would get at a fast food restaurant(should have took warning to the first red flag). The filet came out cold, the only thing on her plate that was warm were the mashed potatoes. I had the chicken Parmesan which had absolutely no flavor from the chicken to the sauce. I know you can’t expect much when ordering it but still come on… took a couple bites paid our bill and left. our server was amazing though. Definitely would not recommend this establishment. Feel as if the move to downtown hindered their food quality. Price does not meet the quality.
