We stopped by Corky’s. Home style Kitchen to buy cookies. 6 for $18.00! I got a peanut butter cookie for mom, a chocolate chip walnut and macadamia nut cookies for myself. My sister and niece got the other three. The restaurant was a little dark for lunch time if you asked me but it was really cool. I saw the food on some of the plates and if I had not been shopping I would have stayed for lunch.
The service / employees are great and super friendly. The dinner food, unfortunately, was nowhere close to great. The manager recommended the breakfast food, and we now know why. We had heard from other people who ate here often that the pie here is really good, but we were on a time crunch and couldn't stay any longer. Food : 1/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More
This place is generally pretty good. Food is reasonable prices and you get nice portions. Service on the other hand is pretty horrible depending on the day and time you go. Today we walked in and there was no one to seat you. Two people were at the front register and didn’t even acknowledge our presence. The manager was at the counter with his back to the front door. We stood there for awhile hoping someone would acknowledge us. It took awhile. Going here during the week is very hit and miss. The waitresses for the most part don’t seem to like their jobs. The weekend is a different story. I would still recommend this place overall.
