Cork & Cow

Tonight we had a reservation at 5pm. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Our waitress was excellent. We were there for our anniversary. We ordered 1x strawberry salad and 1x wedge salad. Wedge salad was great. Strawberry salad was over dressed and lettuce was bitter. We had 3 cocktails and they were good. Our main order was 2x NY strip medium. Both steak were to the point of well done. I was very disappointed as I am a chef and expected a lot more. We mentioned it to the waitress and told her we weren’t prepared to wait for the steaks to be re-cooked, but made our point. By 6pm the restaurant was so loud we had very raised voices to hear our own conversation. For the $180+ tip, we won’t be returning nor recommending.

Cork and Cow is absolutely delicious. Our server Carey (sp?) was an incredible host and made several impressive cocktail recommendations for the entire table. We ordered the tomahawk, which fed all three of us, and was a clear step in the right direction. The potatoes with this dish were a clear winner! Also loved the lobster tail which was cooked perfectly as well as the shrimp. Pictured are two deserts - we couldn’t choose just one. I personally thought the chocolate cake was amazing - so rich! Would absolutely fly back to TN to eat here again.

Dined at C&C for our anniversary and a late birthday, which was a phenomenal choice. All the waitstaff were incredibly attentive to detail, including any table allergies, and made sure to refill drinks promptly. As for the food, the garnished meatballs atop Texas toast were a great starter. Our 7 oz. fillets with butter and sea salt were definitely one of the best steaks we have ever tasted. The outside of the fillet is charred to perfection, while the inside is buttery smooth and tender. Roasted redskin potatoes come complimentary with the steak choices. Additional sides are considered shareable and we had delectable asparagus and gnocchi. This is the perfect place for any special occasion. Pricing is higher, as one would expect with a top-notch steak restaurant. However, the amount + quality of food and careful attention to detail by all staff more than outweighs the cost. Between two of us, we spent ~$150, including two glasses of wine. Don’t walk, run to C&C!
